Russian-Inspired Swedish Dishcloths
The Swedish dishcloth is an environmentally-friendly replacement for household dishcloths, including paper towels, plastic dishcloths, and sponges. This dishcloth is a great way to reduce waste and cut down on landfill usage. They are manufactured from a blend of cellulose and cotton, and can absorb up to 20 times their own weight in water -- replacing over a thousand paper towels! They are completely organic and machine-washable. The first dishcloth of its kind was developed in Sweden in 1949, hence the name. These patterns are all based on Russian folk and fauna motifs!
