This cotton/linen tea towel is called Saimaannorppa (Saimaa Ringed Seal). The pattern is the Finnish version of the leopard pattern and designed by Kaarina Tiainen.
Northern nature and our environment are precious and proceeds from the sale of these towels goes to the Finnish association for nature conservation, Suomen luonnonsuojeluliitto, to protect The Saimaa Ringed Seal, an endangered seal living in Lake Saimaa, Finland.
