Bookshelf Soviet Apartment 4 - story

This miniature is a replica of one of the the most ubiquitous of Soviet housing apartment buildings in the USSR built during the Khruschev era, the "Khruschevka". It comes complete with whimsical modern additions of mini insulated balconies and air conditioners. 

Made for us by our new friend and young artisan in Zaporozhye, Ukraine, Dima Pokrovksy.  Help us support him and his creative and entrepreneurial spirit and add whimsy to your home.

Miniature is laser cut balsam wood and stained by hand.
