A stunning example of a master's hand at work. A Fedoskino lacquered miniature by the artist Aldoshkina, "Summer and Fall".
Aldoshkina's mastery of craft is evident in the fine brush strokes in both the hair and hands. it is also worth taking note of the shimmering lines along the borders of the box which were painted with crushed egg shell, gold dust, and water.
